Chromatic Circle Technique for Color Sudoku

The Chromatic Circle is an advanced color sudoku strategy that helps you find missing numbers by tracking one color across the entire grid. If you already know the Rainbow technique, this is its complement.

The Principle

Each color must contain all numbers from 1 to 9.

If you find a color with 8 different numbers, you know which number is missing. Then find where that number goes in an empty cell of that color.

The color reveals the number. This is the opposite of Rainbow Technique where the number reveals the color.

Step-by-Step Example

Track the Green cells. They contain numbers 1-8 — 9 is missing!

Step 1: All Green cells with 8 numbers
8 numbers found
Step 2: 9 is missing
9 is missing
Step 3: Green 9 placed
Green 9 placed!

Result: By tracking the Green color across all numbers, we found that 9 was missing and placed it!
